Friends forever
On the shore of life, true friends are like the waves,
They come and go, but touch you in such a way,
That even when they are not around,
A feeling of closeness is always there.
Our friendship has grown through all these
Years and even though we’re not as close, as we used to be,
Our friendship remains the same, for we’re…

For my wonderful friend
I thought I’d thank God for your friendship,
But I didn’t know just where to start.
Sould I menton your generous spirit,
Or your smile that comes stright from the heart?
And then there’s your genuine kindness
That you’re never too busy to share…
It was easy to see that your good qualities
Couldn’t fit into one single prayer.
So after much thought,
What I did in the end,
Was say “Thank you, Dear Lord,
for my wonderful friend!”

Old friends are always best friends
I want you to know how much it has meant to me
Haveing you my friend… You’re been so much a part of
My life for such a long time, and whether we’ve been side
By side or many miles apart, I’ve always felt close to you.
We know each other so well that whenever we’re
Together, I always feel nice and easy. We can do something
Special or nothing much… It doesn’t really matter.
I know that if I need a mood lightened, a secret kept, a
Story shared, advice given, help offered, a memory relived, a
Success celebrated…anything… I can always count on you
And you on me.
When I think of our good times, it makes me smile
Remembering them all, and it makes my glad knowing there
Will be more good times ahead of us.
I’m always happy when new friends come into my life,
But old friends are always best friends.
I know that’s true because of you.
